Collection: NIKE SB DUNK LOW

The Nike Dunk SB (Skateboarding) originated as a re-engineered version of the 1985 Nike Dunk basketball shoe, designed specifically to meet the needs of skateboarders. Nike recognized that skaters were drawn to earlier Dunk and Air Jordan models due to their durability and traction, but these shoes lacked features tailored to skateboarding. Sandy Bodecker, appointed head of Nike Skateboarding in 2001, redesigned the Dunk to include a thicker, padded tongue and ankle collar, Zoom Air insole for impact protection, and a grippier outsole for better board feel, officially launching the SB Dunk in 2002
